Xuemei Bennink-Bai 

Xuemei Bennink-Bai is a Partner at Egon Zehnder, where she serves as a trusted advisor to both global and Chinese clients. She specializes in top executive succession, leadership development, and senior executive search, particularly within consumer-related industries. Based in Shanghai, Xuemei brings a wealth of hands-on corporate leadership experience and a passion for solving clients’ leadership challenges. She is also active in Egon Zehnder's Family and Board Consulting practices.

Xuemei is a certified executive coach and a faculty member of Egon Zehnder’s Global Leadership Development programs. She also led the launch of an Executive Potential Exploration Program in China.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Xuemei was on the executive board of Rentokil Initial, a FTSE100 company in the UK. While based in Singapore and London, she led the turnaround of Rentokil Initial’s operations across 15 Asia-Pacific countries and established the Group Marketing and Innovation function. Xuemei began her career with Unilever in the UK, spending more than a decade in the China market, where she eventually became Vice President of Unilever China.

Xuemei holds a Ph.D. in heat transfer from the University of Cambridge.
